Located in the Chitipa district near the Tanzanian border, Misuku Hills offer a haven for nature enthusiasts. With lush Mughese and Wilindi-Matipa Forest Reserves, boasting elevations from 1,600 to 2,050 meters, the hills are home to over 100 bird species and 150 tree species. Recognized as the birthplace of Mzuzu Coffee and Misuku Honey, this scenic region also offers the highest altitude coffee cultivation in Malawi. Recently, A new eco-lodge named Tulipoka Lodge 2 provides affordable and clean accommodation near Chitipa District Hospital and the market.
